Individual and couple’s psychotherapy
Individual psychotherapy is a process through which clients work one-on-one with a trained therapist—in a safe, caring, and confidential environment—to explore their situation, their feelings, beliefs, or behaviors, work through challenging or influential memories, identify aspects of their lives that they want to change, better understand themselves and others, set personal goals, and work toward desired change.
Many couples in troubled relationships wait too long to get help. By the time both spouses agree to couple’s psychotherapy, the relationship has often been strained to the breaking point. Some spouses, though, have found a way to work on their relationship even if their partners wouldn’t go to couples counseling or psychotherapy. They go alone.
The first interview is a good oportunity for you to decide weather you prefer to come allone or together with your spouse.
